Who are the American Legion Riders?


The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. The American Legion Riders were formed...

  • To participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion.
  • To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same inyerest.
  • To use our association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.

The American Legion Riders is not a M/C, and does not practice M/C rules or regulations.  The American Legion Riders is a family oriented, just as its parent organization: The American Legion.

What we do.

Money collected from our Dues, Chicken B-B-Q, annual Poker Run in August and Basket of Cheer raffle in December is used throughout the year to support military organizations, personnel & their families. We honor current & past veterans by providing Flag lines, Honor Guards and motorcycle escorts. Our services are only limited by your imagination. We strive to honor our veterans in any honorable & dignified way.

Who can Join?

  • Membership is open to any member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion.  If you are not currently a member, and wish to join, contact us via email or contact your local post in the town in which you live.
  • You must have a motorcycle of 650cc or larger, or be the spouse of an owner who is an association member.
  • Annual dues are $12.00
